The reported route is fragments → cave ritual → rare Headless Egg → Headless Horseman. The difficult chance is obtaining the egg; do not confuse that with a pet hatch rate.
Your next steps
What unlocks the cave
Community guides describe one Yin piece and one Yang piece as the ritual inputs. Both are reported as ground pickups in Halloween World. A guide updated 11 October reports fixed spawn issues; use the current server state instead of expecting an old broken behavior.
Landmarks to inspect
Reported search areas include Candy Drop-Off, the cemetery above the cave, Trick or Treat houses and the open ground before the pumpkins. Treat these as a search circuit, not guaranteed coordinates. Check an accessible area before moving to the next; avoid repeatedly camping an empty point.
Complete one attempt
With both pieces, inspect the Yinyang Cave interaction and place them as directed. Check the reward shown after opening. If you already have one piece, use the checklist to remember what is missing; it stores planning progress only and cannot inspect your Roblox inventory.
Egg reward versus hatch result
One community walkthrough reports a 0.1% chance for Headless Egg and a guaranteed Headless Horseman once that egg is obtained, with an instant hatch. These are reported mechanics, not official odds. The 0.1% value describes the rare egg reward, not a 0.1% hatch chance after acquiring it.
What repeated attempts mean
If a 0.1% independent chance is accurate, 1,000 attempts gives about 63.2% chance of at least one success, rather than a guarantee. About 693 attempts reaches 50%, and 2,302 reaches 90%. Open the linked calculator to inspect this model; real rules or dependence between attempts can change the result.
Reviewed 13 October 2026. Locations, reward rate and hatch behavior are community-reported. Probability examples are conditional calculations, not a game guarantee.
